Guess policy makers are mentally preparing us for a stage ,where we all be required to lead a life full of compromises due to the "pro people" vision of our planners.
Here are a few indicators why they want us to believe in NO:32
- GDP Growth @8% ( Only God Knows what is the actually GDP benefits reaching the critcical masses)
- Inflation on paper > 10%
- Interest Rate> 12%
- Fiscal Deficit-5% of GDP
- Huge Govt Borrowing :52,000 Crore INR (source TOI 1st Oct 2011)
Though festival mood is in air, but there is apprehension among people, how things shape up in the next few months. Already cash flow is less, key GOVT Establishment like the India Airlines, Indian Railway & BSNL are bleeding, uncertain & scam tainted political environment is eroding foreign investment, job less growth etc are some of the points bothering urban-semi urban India .
Rural India has its own perils- poor infrastructure & ineeficient delivery mechanism, lack of education, unequal land distribution & what not.
Our Politicians have played their game smartly- keep people divided on caste, religion, lanaguage basis so their myopic way of governance can continue & they continue with their loot, be in CWG, 2G ....
We stand at the cross road of history, and its crucial for us to decide how we shape up our & future generations lives. To start with, need to breal free from clutches of politicians & start questioning them. Then start enagagement within the society on major socio economic challenegs & build up apolitical movement with an "inclusive society" concept . Also shed "I am fine" , you just can`t be if your fellow citizens are not. Pledge Zero Tolerance on Corruption, and corruption can be many fold- social, economic, spiritual to name a few & last but not the least, never shy away from talking head on any injustice met albeit in a peaceful & logical way.
Am sure then nobody will dare to fool us with NO: 32 ...if we start behaving as a cohesive society rather fragmented one & we INDIANS can !!!!!
